Xs Games was a company that existed in the first part of the 21st century, and gained a degree of notoriety for their butchering of two great shooters when they bought the rights to localize them in the US – namely Gunbird and Shikigami no Shiro, which were ridiculously retitled Mobile Light Force and Mobile Light Force 2. The two games weren’t related in any way! On top of that, the two games were castrated by the removal of the original title screens, cinemas, endings, and cover art, and the inclusion of new, horrible Charlie’s Angels-style cover art.
Much as what they did infuriated gamers at the time, I thought it would be funny to see what could be thought up with come up with if other games had been given the Xs Games treatment. This was just to see what kind of mediocre, annoying or just plain hilarious titles that could be thought up. Don’t forget to picture these with the required terrible cover art. Hell, I’d love to see someone with better image manipulation skills than me work these horrible titles into the existing cover artwork.
